I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
